Description

Soft and tender strawberry cream cheese cookies with a rich, slightly tangy flavor and bursts of sweet strawberry in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries or dried strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  7. Scoop dough into small balls and roll in sugar.
  8. Place on baking sheet and slightly flatten.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft.
  10. Cool before serving.
