Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cup lettuce
- 8 pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- Divide ground beef into 4 loose balls.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over high heat.
- Place beef balls on the hot skillet and smash flat with a spatula.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy around the edges.
- Flip patties and top with cheddar cheese.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Toast burger buns with butter until golden.
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make burger sauce.
- Assemble burgers with sauce, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and cheesy patties.
- Serve immediately while hot and juicy.
