Crispy Chili Crisp Salmon Rice Stacks are flavorful layered rice stacks featuring crispy salmon bites, seasoned sushi-style rice, creamy avocado, and a spicy chili crisp drizzle for a restaurant-worthy meal at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice or jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 1 cucumber, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Nori strips for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
  3. Mix cooked rice with rice vinegar and sugar. Let cool slightly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sriracha if using.
  5. Using a food ring or measuring cup, press a layer of rice into the bottom.
  6. Add a layer of diced cucumber and avocado.
  7. Top with crispy salmon pieces.
  8. Carefully remove the mold and repeat for remaining stacks.
  9. Drizzle chili crisp and spicy mayo over each stack.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and nori strips.
  11. Serve immediately.
