Cheesy Pepperoni Lasagna Rolls are comforting pasta rolls stuffed with creamy cheese filling, savory turkey pepperoni, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella for a fun twist on classic lasagna.
Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 24 slices turkey pepperoni
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and lay flat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spread cheese filling evenly over each lasagna noodle.
- Layer turkey pepperoni slices on top of the cheese mixture.
- Roll noodles tightly and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the rolls.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Do not overcook the noodles to prevent tearing.
- Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra filling.
- Serve with garlic bread or salad.
