Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, or haddock)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each fillet in the mixture, coating evenly.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add fish and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley.
