Description
A simple and hearty beef skillet dinner made with ground beef, vegetables, and savory spices—all cooked in one pan for an easy weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 300g ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in diced potatoes and carrots, cooking for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add bell peppers and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Pour in tomato sauce and mix well.
- Season with paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until vegetables are fully cooked.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can replace potatoes with pasta or rice.
- Add cheese on top for extra richness.
- Use lean beef for a lighter version.
- Include zucchini or mushrooms for more vegetables.
