Description

Crispy chicken rice bowls drizzled with sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, served over fluffy rice with fresh vegetables for a bold and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat chicken pieces in flour and cornstarch mixture, then dip into beaten eggs.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, chili flakes, and butter.
  6. Heat gently until smooth and slightly thickened.
  7. Toss crispy chicken in the hot honey sauce.
  8. Divide cooked rice into serving bowls.
  9. Top with hot honey chicken, cucumber, avocado, and green onions.
  10. Serve immediately.
