Ingredients
- 500g beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and add parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Add Italian seasoning and mix well.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use high heat to get a good sear on the steak.
- Do not overcook steak to keep it tender.
- Substitute spinach with kale if desired.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
