Description

A rich and creamy garlic parmesan shrimp dish with tender shrimp simmered in a velvety, cheesy sauce—perfect for a quick and indulgent dinner.


Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Bring to a gentle simmer and add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  7. Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
