Ingredients

  • 250g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak slices with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  4. Sear steak for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add beef broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
  7. Bring to a gentle simmer and stir in parmesan cheese until smooth.
  8. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Return steak to the skillet and mix gently.
  10. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  11. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
