Description
A creamy, layered no-bake dessert featuring banana pudding, whipped cream, cookies, and fresh bananas stacked like a sweet lasagna.
Ingredients
- 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafer cookies
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together cold milk and vanilla pudding mix until thickened. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- In a baking dish, layer vanilla wafers on the bottom.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pudding layer.
- Repeat layers with wafers, bananas, and remaining pudding.
- Top with remaining whipped topping.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent mushiness.
- Chill overnight for best flavor and texture.
- Add caramel drizzle for extra richness.
- Cover tightly to prevent bananas from browning.
