Baked Keto Onion Rings are a crispy, low-carb alternative to traditional onion rings, coated in a flavorful almond flour crust and baked until golden and crunchy.
Ingredients
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate onion slices into rings.
- In one bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream together.
- In another bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.
- Place coated rings on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly spray or drizzle with oil for crispiness.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm.
