Description

Baked Keto Onion Rings are a crispy, low-carb alternative to traditional onion rings, coated in a flavorful almond flour crust and baked until golden and crunchy.

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate onion slices into rings.
  3. In one bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream together.
  4. In another bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.
  6. Place coated rings on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Lightly spray or drizzle with oil for crispiness.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, bake on a wire rack over the tray.
  • Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
  • Serve with keto-friendly dipping sauces.
  • Best eaten fresh for maximum crunch.
