Description

A warm and creamy stuffed mushroom dip packed with sautéed mushrooms, garlic, herbs, and melted cheeses, perfect for serving with crackers or toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until moisture evaporates.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Fold in the sautéed mushrooms until well mixed.
  7. Transfer mixture to a small baking dish and smooth the top.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top if using.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  10. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
