Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 3 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the skillet.
- Arrange frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the tots.
- Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
