Description

Sweet Potatoes with Whipped Feta & Hot Honey is a flavorful side dish featuring roasted sweet potatoes topped with creamy whipped feta and finished with a drizzle of spicy-sweet hot honey for a perfect balance of savory and sweet.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 6 oz feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss sweet potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, turning once, until tender and caramelized.
  4. While potatoes roast, blend feta, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread whipped feta onto a serving plate.
  6. Top with roasted sweet potatoes.
  7. Drizzle hot honey over the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can make hot honey by warming honey with chili flakes.
  • Serve as a side dish or vegetarian main.
