Description
Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are savory, flavor-packed bites made with seasoned ground beef wrapped around gooey cheddar cheese, brushed with BBQ sauce, and wrapped in crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
- 12 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and flatten each into a patty.
- Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center of each patty and wrap the beef around it, sealing well.
- Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
- Place bacon bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush generously with BBQ sauce.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bacon is crispy and beef is cooked through.
- Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
