A bold and satisfying stir-fry bowl made with spicy ground beef, garlic-sautéed vegetables, and fluffy steamed rice—perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp chili paste or chili sauce
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots; stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Drizzle sesame oil and mix well.
- Serve the spicy beef and vegetables over steamed rice and garnish with green onions.
Notes
- Adjust chili sauce to control spice level.
- You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version.
- Brown rice works well as a healthier alternative.
