Description
Seafood Pasta with Shrimp & Crab is a rich and elegant dish featuring tender shrimp and sweet crab meat tossed with pasta in a flavorful garlic cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
- 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz lump crab meat
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Gently fold in shrimp and crab meat.
- Finish with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh crab meat for best flavor.
- Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
- You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
