Description

Seafood Pasta with Shrimp & Crab is a rich and elegant dish featuring tender shrimp and sweet crab meat tossed with pasta in a flavorful garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  8. Gently fold in shrimp and crab meat.
  9. Finish with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh crab meat for best flavor.
  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
