Description

Roasted Garlic White Chicken Pizza is a creamy, savory pizza topped with tender chicken, roasted garlic, mozzarella, and a rich white sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce. Perfectly golden and flavorful, it’s a delicious twist on classic pizza night.

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza dough (12-inch)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 whole head garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (plus extra for roasting)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft. Let cool and squeeze out roasted garlic cloves.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until thickened. Add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and mashed roasted garlic. Remove from heat.
  4. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  6. Spread white garlic sauce evenly over the dough.
  7. Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Pre-bake crust for 5 minutes for a crispier base.
  • Best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
