Description

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake is an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert made by layering sweet peaches, warm spices, and cake mix, then baking until golden and bubbly. It delivers classic cobbler flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour peaches with syrup evenly into the prepared dish.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the peaches.
  4. Evenly spread dry cake mix over the peach layer.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top if using.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes until top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Do not stir the layers; the cake bakes itself.
  • You may use fresh or frozen peaches (add sugar if unsweetened).
  • Best served warm.
