Description
Peach Cobbler Dump Cake is an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert made by layering sweet peaches, warm spices, and cake mix, then baking until golden and bubbly. It delivers classic cobbler flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour peaches with syrup evenly into the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the peaches.
- Evenly spread dry cake mix over the peach layer.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top if using.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Do not stir the layers; the cake bakes itself.
