Description

Crispy oven-fried feta rolls wrapped in golden pastry and drizzled with sweet and spicy chili honey. A perfect balance of salty, crunchy, and lightly sweet flavors for an irresistible appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough (or spring roll wrappers)
  • 8 oz feta cheese, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat feta dry and sprinkle with black pepper and parsley if using.
  3. Place one strip of feta near the edge of each phyllo sheet and roll tightly, folding in sides to seal.
  4. Brush rolls lightly with olive oil and place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, warm honey in a small saucepan and stir in red pepper flakes and lemon juice.
  7. Drizzle chili honey generously over hot feta rolls before serving.
