Description
Mini Pizzetta are bite-sized personal pizzas made with soft dough, tangy tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and your favorite toppings, baked until golden and bubbly.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced olives or bell peppers (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide pizza dough into 8–10 equal portions and roll each into a small circle (about 3–4 inches wide).
- Place dough rounds on the prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Spread a small spoonful of pizza sauce onto each round, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over each pizzetta.
- Add desired toppings such as mini pepperoni or vegetables.
- Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt over the top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
Notes
- Use naan bread or English muffins for a quicker version.
