Description
Low-Carb Italian Sub Wrap (Tortilla Melt Style) is a warm, cheesy wrap packed with deli meats, provolone, crisp vegetables, and zesty Italian flavors, toasted until golden for a satisfying low-carb meal.
Ingredients
- 2 low-carb tortillas
- 6 slices deli turkey
- 6 slices deli ham
- 8 slices pepperoni
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons sliced red onion
- 2 tablespoons banana peppers
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for toasting)
Instructions
- Lay tortillas flat and spread mayonnaise evenly over each.
- Layer turkey, ham, pepperoni, and provolone cheese on one half of each tortilla.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Fold tortillas in half to form a semicircle.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place wraps in the skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and carefully open to add lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and banana peppers.
- Fold back together, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- Add a drizzle of red wine vinegar for extra tang.
- Use mozzarella instead of provolone if preferred.
- Press with a spatula while cooking for an extra crispy exterior.
- Keep vegetables fresh by adding them after toasting.
