Description

A fun twist on tacos, loaded with all the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger, complete with crispy bacon, juicy beef, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 small soft flour tortillas
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup pickles, diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once cooked, drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, crumble the bacon and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make a special sauce.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos: Spread a small amount of the special sauce on each tortilla, then add a layer of cooked ground beef.
  6. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, red onion, pickles, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra pickles or lettuce if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the tacos.
  • If you prefer, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
