Description
A fun twist on tacos, loaded with all the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger, complete with crispy bacon, juicy beef, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 small soft flour tortillas
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once cooked, drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, crumble the bacon and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make a special sauce.
- Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet until soft and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos: Spread a small amount of the special sauce on each tortilla, then add a layer of cooked ground beef.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, red onion, pickles, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra pickles or lettuce if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the tacos.
- If you prefer, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
- These tacos can be served with a side of fries or potato wedges for an extra indulgent meal.
