Ingredients
- For the Crust:
- 24 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the Cream Cheese Layer:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping
- For the Chocolate Pudding Layer:
- 2 (3.9-ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- For the Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Chill for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Spread pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping, smoothing the surface.
- Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate shavings over the top. Dust lightly with cocoa powder if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before slicing and serving.
