Description

Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a rich, soft-baked dessert with a buttery cookie dough base loaded with chocolate chips, baked in a pie dish for a thick, chewy, and irresistibly gooey center.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  7. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pie dish.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are golden brown and center is slightly set but still gooey.
  9. Cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm for extra gooey texture.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to maintain a soft, gooey center.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
  • Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat slices briefly in the microwave for a fresh-from-the-oven taste.
