Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Melt butter and stir in sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour brownie batter into the unbaked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly gooey.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
