Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Melt butter and stir in sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour brownie batter into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly gooey.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep the center gooey.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
