Description

Double Crunch Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts are crispy, golden-fried chicken breasts coated in a crunchy batter and finished with a sticky, sweet-and-savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create thinner cutlets.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, then again into the flour mixture to create a double coating.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry chicken in batches for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. In a saucepan, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  8. Simmer over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Pour honey garlic sauce over the crispy chicken before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • Serve immediately to maintain crispiness.
  • Pairs well with rice or steamed vegetables.
