Description

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge green beans in flour, dip into eggs, then coat evenly with breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange coated green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then bake another 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Air fryer option: cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.
