Description

Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, made from seasoned chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs and cooked until golden—perfect as a snack or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with eggs whisked with milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip into egg mixture, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes as a lighter option.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • Serve with honey mustard, ranch, or ketchup.
