Description
Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, made from seasoned chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs and cooked until golden—perfect as a snack or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breast cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with eggs whisked with milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip into egg mixture, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes as a lighter option.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
- Serve with honey mustard, ranch, or ketchup.
