Description

Cheesy Ground Beef Noodle Casserole is a comforting family-style dish made with tender egg noodles, seasoned ground beef, and a creamy, cheesy sauce baked until bubbly and golden.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
  4. Add garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain excess fat.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, beef mixture, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the cheeses.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use halal ground beef if needed.
  • Add peas or corn for extra texture and flavor.
  • Leftovers reheat well and taste even better the next day.
