Description

Juicy chicken breasts cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce and finished with melted cheese for a comforting, flavor-packed main dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in mozzarella, cheddar, and Italian seasoning until melted and smooth.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  9. Simmer for 5 minutes until chicken is well coated.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.
  • Serve with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
