Description
Banana Split Pie is a no-bake dessert inspired by the classic banana split, featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy filling, fresh bananas, pineapple, strawberries, whipped topping, and chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients
- 200 g graham crackers, crushed
- 100 g unsalted butter, melted
- 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 200 g crushed pineapple, well drained
- 200 g strawberries, sliced
- 250 ml whipped topping or whipped cream
- 60 ml chocolate syrup
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Chill the crust in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Arrange banana slices over the cream cheese layer.
- Spoon the drained crushed pineapple evenly on top of the bananas.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Spread whipped topping evenly over the fruit layers.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Make sure pineapple is well drained to avoid a soggy pie.
- You can add caramel sauce for extra sweetness.
- This pie is best served chilled.
