Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overbake shrimp or they will become rubbery.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning based on desired spice level.
- Serve with rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.
